Frequently Asked Questions

What is your style of photography?

I specialize in providing photojournalistic coverage of your wedding ceremony and reception, and stay out of the way of you and your guests as much as possible.  I emphasize joyful, natural imagery while capturing both the expected and unexpected moments and the natural and realistic emotions of your special day.  When possible, especially during your ceremony, I shoot without using flash.  When more light is needed I bounce or diffuse the light so that the pictures look as if they were taken under natural light.  For your classically posed portraits I seek out the best outdoor locations, or use studio lighting for indoor locations.

Do you provide the digital files?

It is important to me that you have copies of every photograph from your special day.
For that reason, high-resolution files are available for purchase. You will have the rights to duplicate and distribute the photos as you desire.

How many photos do you usually provide?

Depending on the size and duration of your celebration, you can expect anywhere from 500-1000 quality photographs.

How many hours will you spend photographing our wedding day?

I book no other appointments on your wedding day, so I'll be available for as long or as short a period as you like.

Do you travel? If so, how do you charge for travel expenses?

I will gladly travel to photograph your wedding, and I'm available for travel anywhere in the world. You will be charged the travel costs including transportation, meals and hotel.

What types of payment do you accept?

I accept credit card, cash, and personal checks.

How long after the wedding will we have our photographs?

I will have the digital photos ready for you within 2 weeks after your wedding.
